Hi there, and welcome to our story! We’re a family of five (plus Remington, our dog) based just West of Calgary Alberta. For years, we’ve been exploring the Canadian Rockies by RV, and we’ve learned that getting out on the road with your family creates some of life’s most meaningful memories.

When we first started RVing, we quickly realized how intimidating it all felt. Understanding RV systems, navigating camping logistics, and discovering the best routes and destinations took a lot of trial and error. Like the time we took our family camping in negative temperatures to Fairmont Hot Springs for Thanksgiving weekend only to discover frozen water lines due to a small leak we had. What could have been a disaster became a valuable lesson about winterizing and preparation. These experiences taught us so much, and we created this site to help other families skip the steep learning curve and feel confident exploring the Rockies.
